3 c flour
3 c sugar
1/2 tsp. soda
6 eggs
1 c sour cream
1 c butter

3/4 c conf. sugar
2 T milk
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp white syrup

Grease and flour angel food cake pan.
Sift flour and soda.
Cream sugar and butter.
Add egg yolks one at a time and beat well.
Add flour to butter and sugar alternating with cream.
Beat whites and fold in.
Bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours.
When baked, take from pan immediately

When cool, drizzle icing over top.

I acquired this recipe from a friend and have made it often for carry-ins. It's not the kind of cake you want around the kitchen too long if you're counting calories.
