rubber bands

freezer bags

Take each ear and pull shucks back. Remove all silk and put shucks back over corn. Fasten with a rubber band, wrap each in heavy duty foil and store in freezer bags.

These directions for freezing corn is in Aunt Sally's writing. I don't recall having seen it done either by Aunt Sally or Mom. It may work for short term freezing when corn production gets ahead of us.
