2 cups flour
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup milk
1 cup salted mixed nuts
1 cup drained cherries
1 large chocolate bar or 1 cup chocolate chips
FROSTING
1/4 cup butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and 3/4 cup milk. Stir in 1 cup nuts (broked in large pieces) 1 cup drained cherries and chocolate. Put in 15" x 10" x 1" greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake at 325º for 25 to 30 minutes.
FROSTING: Brown butter over medium heat until deep brown remove from heat and stir in powdered sugar, vanilla and milk. Beat until smooth. Frost warm. Cut into squares.
