1 1/2 cups sifted flour
1/2 c butter, softened
1/2 tsp salt
1 lb 13 oz can peach halves
1/2 c sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 egg slightly beaten
1 c Pet Evaporated Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, butter, salt with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture looks like coarse meal. With back of spoon press mixture firmly onto bottom and half-way up sides of buttered 8-inch square baking dish. Drain peaches, saving 1/2 cup of syrup. Arrange peach halves, inside up, on crust. Sprinkle with mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Bake in 375º F oven 20 min. Mix egg, evaporated milk, and reserved peach syrup. Pour over peaches. Bake 30 minutes more, or until custard is firm except in center. Center becomes firm on standing. Serve warm or cold. Serves 6-8
