3 lbs yellow summer squash
1/2 c chopped onions
1/2 c cracker meal or bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 stick butter, halved
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and cut up squash, boil till tender, drain thoroughly, then mash. Add all ingredients except half of butter. Pour mixture in baking dish; spread remaining melted butter on top; sprinkle with some additional crumbs. Bake at 375º F for 1 hour or until brown on top. Serves: 6-8
