Sift into mixing bowl 2 c flour 1 tsp salt Add. 1/3 c shortening 1/3 c butter
Mix with pastry blender until pea-sized bits. Sprinkle in by tablespoons while lightly mixing dough: 1/3 c very cold water Handle dough as little as possible. Roll to desired size on floured surface or pastry cloth. (Hint: wrap dough in paper or foil and chill slightly to make it easier to work.)
