2/3 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. Quick chocolate mix
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Filling:
3/4 c. butter
3 c. powdered sugar
2 c. marshmallow creme

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift flour, chocolate mix, salt and baking soda. Stir into dry ingredients alternatley with milk. Drop batter by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet for 8 minutes at 400º. Mix filling ingredients until blended well. Spread filling between 2 cookies.
