1 1/3 cup chopped toasted pecans
8 T. butter, softened ( I use about half the amount)
6 T. real maple syrup
salt, pepper
4 pounds brussel sprouts
4 T. canola oil

Directions:
Directions:
Position rack in middle of oven and preheat 450º
In small bowl, stir together pecans, butter, maple syrup and season with salt and pepper. On a sheet pan, toss together the brussel sprouts and canola oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Roast brussel sprouts, shaking pan and rolling them around every 5 minutes, until richly browned and tender, 20-25 minutes
Transfer roasted brussel sprouts to a large bowl and toss with the butter/pecan mixture. Serve hot.
