1- 6 ounce or 2 - 3 ounce packages orange or apricot Jell-O
Water
1 package plain unflavored gelatin, as directed.
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 large can crushed pineapple (drain and save juice)
2 large bananas, medium ripe and sliced.

Topping (optional)
½ cup pineapple juice (from above)
¾ cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoon flour

1 package Dream Whip (prepared)

Angle Flake coconut
Maraschino cherries for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Mix as directed with water, using 1 less cup of water than called for in directions. Soften 1 package plain unflavored gelatin as directed. Add plain gelatin to flavored Jell-O mixture (plain gelatin aids in congealing). Pour into large casserole dish.
Let congeal slightly, until syrupy. Add 2 cup miniature marshmallows, 1 large can crushed pineapple (drain and save juice), and 2 large bananas, medium ripe and sliced. Stir well.
Let congeal.

Topping:
Mix topping ingredients. Cook over low heat until mixture thickens.Cool thoroughly. Prepare Dream Whip according to package directions. Fold Dream Whip with cooked, cooled topping. Spread over congealed Jell-O. Sprinkle with coconut (Angel Flake). Top with cherries. Chill 4 hours. Cut in squares to serve.
