1/2 C Butter or Margarine (softened)
1/2 C Shortening
1 1/2 C Sugar
2 Eggs
2 3/4 C Flour
2 t Cream of Tartar
1 t Baking Soda
1/4 t Salt
4 T Sugar
4 t Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400. Mix thoroughly butter, shortening, 1 1/2 C Sugar, and eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls.
Mix 4 T sugar and cinnamon. Roll balls in sugar mixture. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set. Immediately remove from baking sheet.
