1 (18 1/4 oz) yellow cake mix
3/4 c packed brown sugar
3/4 c butter, melted
2 eggs
2 c chopped dates
2 c chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
In bowl, combine cake mix and brown sugar. Add butter and eggs and beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Combine dates and nuts. Stir into batter ( batter will be stiff). Spread into greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake 350 for 35-45 minutes or until edges golden brown. Cool for 10 minutes. Run knife around sides of pan to loosen. Cool completely before cutting
