Glaze:
1/2 cup ketchup or chili sauce
4 tbsp. brown sugar
4 tsp. cider or white vinegar


Meatloaf:
2 tsp. vegtable oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 large eggs
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
1 tsp. salt
1/2 ground black pepper
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
2 tsp. Worchestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. Tobasco sauce
1/2 cup milk
2/3 cup oatmeal
2 lbs. meatloaf mix (1/2 beef, 1/2 pork) I use 1.5 lbs. ground beef

Directions:
For glaze: Mix all ingredients in small bowl and set aside.

For loaf: Heat oven to 350. Heat oil in med. skillet. Add onion, garlic and saute until softened, about 5 min. Set aside.

Mix eggs, thyme, salt, pepper, mustard, worc. sauce and milk. Add meat, oatmeal, cooked onion and garlic. Mix with fork. If it sticks to bowl add a little extra milk.

Form in loaf pan and brush with half the glaze. Brush on the rest of glaze the last 15 minutes of baking. Bake for about 1 hour or so.
