1 lb ground beef
1/2 small onion, chopped
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
3 oz cream cheese, softened
3/4 tsp salt
2 tsp chili powder
12 jumbo pasta shells, cooked, drained and tossed with 1 tbsp butter
1 cup picante sauce or chunky salsa
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup monterrey jack cheese, shredded

Preheat oven to 350º. Brown ground beef with chopped onion, garlic and salt. Drain fat. Stir in cream cheese and chili powder. Cool slightly. Stuff buttered pasta shells evenly with meat mixture. Arrange shells in a greased baking pan. Top each one with sauce. Cover tightly with foil and bak for 30 mins. Remove from oven, remove foil and cover shells with cheeses. Return to oven for 15 mins or until cheese is melted. Garnish with sour cream and chopped green onions if desired.
