1 qt. eggnog, bought at grocery store
1/2 - 3/4 cup milk
2 c. combination of equal parts of brandy, bourbon and rum
nutmeg

Mix eggnog, milk and liquor.
Serve in 8 oz. glasses with about 1/4 tsp of nutmeg sprinkled on top.
Enjoy, but not too much.

Earl always thinned the eggnog a bit with some milk.
To make one glass (8 oz) just add about 1 jigger of the liquor mix to 6 oz of eggnog + milk. Always remember to sprinkle a bit of eggnog on top. Always make sure your guests have a "designated driver" if needed. A big Christmas dinner and get-together after the eggnogs will usually prevent problems.
