4-5 c flour
2/3 c shortening
1 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 c milk
1/2 stick margarine
1/2 c sugar
1 tbsp flour
2 c vinegar

Cut shortening into sifted flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir in milk and roll dough to 1/4" thickness. Soften margarine, spread over dough. Sprinkle cinnamon over entire dough. Next sprinkle sugar over dough and roll as for cinnamon rolls, cut in 1" slices. Place in pans so they just touch each other. Sprinkle with 1 tbsp flour. Combine vinegar, water, and 2 cups sugar, make sure sugar is dissolved. Pour over dumplings. Bake at 350 until brown.
