3 tbsp butter
1 tbsp invert sugar
1/4 t vanilla
3 drops invertase
1 lb semi-sweet chocolate for dipping
3/4 c marshmallow creme
1/2 t almond flavoring
pinch of salt
2 and 1/2 c powdered sugar
48 small maraschino cherries, drained well

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients together, except powdered sugar, beat well. Gradually add powdered sugar, a little at a time. Knead by hand, add more sugar if needed to form a firm dough that is not sticky. Melt chocolate in double boiler over hot water. Take small pieces of candy, wrap cherry. Dip each piece into chocolate, using for or dipping fork. Fondant will turn liquid in about 5 days.
