Directions:
Directions:
After gettings a packet of red pepper flakes from Pizza Hut, Dominoes or Papa johns for free, begin by peeling the Plantains. I use a knife because I carry a knife but you may use your hands. Once both are peeled, chop into bite size pieces. Next, boil in 3 Cups of water in a pot. Let plantain maintain for now. Heat a medium skillet and throw in Olive Oil, Garlic and Fennel Seeds. After garlic is browned add to boiling Plantains. Once Plantain mixture is soft, which is about 25 minutes depending on the ripeness, drain in drainer. Lastly, after straining into a bowl, mash mixture and add Vegan Buttery Spread. Dash with salt and pepper for an extra last step before serving.©
