2 sticks margarine or butter
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine, shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
Add flour and salt alternately with milk and vanilla.
Pour into a greased tube pan or two 9 x 5 loaf pans. Turn oven on after placing into the oven.

Bake at 325º for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Note: DO NOT preheat the oven
