2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1 16 oz. can crushed pineapple (undrained)
The 16 oz measurement is a must!
1 to 2 cups coarsely chopped walnuts

Stir all ingredients together and bake in a 9 X 13 inch pan at 350º for 30 minutes.

I like to use a bundt pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean and cake is firm. Grease the pan liberally. Also, I have used fruit cocktail and macadamia nuts. Really Good! Frost with cream cheese frosting or just sprinkle on powder sugar.
