2 sticks butter, softened
1c. sugar
5c. flour
6 eggs
1 tsp. anise
1/2c. whiskey
1 tsp. salt
1T. baking powder
3oz. walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. One at a time, add in 6 eggs. Add anise, whiskey, salt and baking powder.
Start with 5 cups of flour and add additional cups of flour until dough is all on beater. Put dough on cutting board and work walnuts into the dough by hand.
Divide into 4 loafs and place on non-greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Make white icing and pour over loafs after cooling and add sprinkles.
