1 med onion, chopped
2-3T. olive oil
4 sweet Italian sausages, skinned and crumbled
3/4 lb. sliced mushrooms
2T. chopped fresh basil or 1T. dried basil
1/4c. dry red wine
2c. canned Italian plum tomatoes
4T. milk
1 lb. rigatoni pasta

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan, over medium heat, saute onion in olive oil until pale gold. Add sausages and saute for a few minutes, add mushrooms, basil and red wine. Allow wine to evaporate, add the tomatoes and let the whole mixture simmer for 8 minutes. Add milk, salt and pepper to taste and remove from heat.
Prepare Rigatoni and cook for 12 minutes. Drain and return the pasta to the pot.
Add sauce and combine.
