"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pound butter, softened
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 ½ c. unbleached white flour
1 c. cocoa
1 c. plain yogurt
2 tsp. Vanilla
almond extract or lemon extract
2 tsp. Baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Generously butter a 10” bundt pan. Dust the inside with sifted cocoa.
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in the eggs. Add 2 c. of flour and beat well. Mix in the yogurt and extract. Combine the baking powder, the remaining flour and the cocoa, add them to the batter. Beat well.
Pour batter into bundt pan. Bake about 1 hour, until the cake pulls slightly away from the sides of the pan, and a knife inserted into the middle of the pan comes out clean.
Remove from oven and turn upside down over a plate to cool. Leave the pan on top of the cake for about 20 minutes so cake will hold it’s shape.
Brush melted sweet chocolate over the cooled cake. Or serve with whipped cream. VERY rich.
