2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons butter, softened
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the cornstarch and sugar. Add to the boiling water, stirring vigorously.
Cook over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat.
Stir in the lemon juice and the zest, butter or margarine, and salt.
Serve while hot.
