2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. light Karo syrup
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
6 qt. popped corn

Directions:
Directions:
On medium high heat, bring brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt to boil for 5 minutes. To test mixture, drop tiny amount into cold water. Caramel should be soft to touch. Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla. Mixture will bubble and foam when stirring this in. Pour over popped corn and stir well. Spread on two cookie sheets. Place in 200º oven for 1 hour, stirring at 15 minute intervals. Remove from oven and let cool, then break apart. Store in airtight container.
