Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb. crab meat
2 sticks butter, softened to room temperature
4 Tbsp. mayonnaise
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 (15oz.) jar Cheese Whiz (the large jar)
12 English muffins, halved

Directions:
Directions:
Mix above ingredients together in a large bowl by hand. Spread generously on 24 English muffin halves (2 packs of 6 muffins).

Bake at 350º for approximately 15 minutes – until golden brown.

Once assembled, I put them on cookie sheets and freeze (don’t cover). Once frozen solid, place in freezer bags and place in freezer. When ready to use, take out the quantity you need and bake. If I’m using them as an appetizer, I use a pizza cutter and cut them into quarters before serving. If I’m using them for dinner with just a salad or bowl of soup, I leave them whole.

You can easily cut this recipe in half by using the smaller jar of Cheese Whiz, 1 6-pack of muffins and cutting the other ingredients by half.

Personal Notes:
My mom makes these often when we have company over. They have always been my favorite, and Aunt Grace loves them as well.
