2 C. WATER
3 LB. SUGAR
2 C. BRANDY

WASH & STONE CHERRIES. PLACE INTO A LARGE POT. ADD THE WATER AND SUGAR. STIR UNTIL SUGAR DISSOLVES. HEAT TO BOILING AND COOK 10 MIN. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND LET STAND 8 HOURS. PLACE CHERRIES IN STERILE JARS AND FILL WITH EQUAL AMOUNTS OF SYRUP AND BRANDY. SEAL AND LABEL JARS. LET SET FOR A MINIMUM OF 2 WEEKS BEFORE USING.
