Ingredients:

5 - 6 carrots (grated)
12 potatoes small to medium (cut into small pieces)
1 - 2 T onion flakes
water (do not drain off)
salt to taste

Sauce:
1 stick oleo
1/2 cup flour
3 T parsley flakes
1 tsp basil
1/2 tsp pepper
7 cup milk
diced ham or bacon

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot boil potatoes, carrots, and onion flakes in just enough water to cover (20 - 30 minutes). Do not drain off. While potatoes cook make sauce. In a second pot melt oleo, add flour, parsley flakes, basil and pepper. Stir to form a paste. Add milk and cook on medium until thickened. When potatoes are done, combine two pots. Add diced ham or cooked, crumbled bacon. Serve.
