1 pre-baked pie shell
3 egg yolks, beaten
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. raisins
2 c. sour cream
pinch of salt
2 T cornstarch
1/4 c. cold water
1 t. vanilla
1/4 t. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 5 ingredients together and refrigerate over night. Place in pan, bring to boil and add 2 tablespoons cornstarch in 1/4 cup cold water; finish cooking till thick. Remove from fire and add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
Cool while preparing meringue, then add small amount of meringue to filling and fold into sour cream raisin mixture.
Meringue:
Use the 3 egg whites and 6 tablespoons sugar and brown in the oven 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

This is my Mom's recipe and was my Dad's favorite pie! It is the best Sour Cream Raisin Pie I have ever eaten; beating Baker's Square pie.
