1 T. orange juice
3 c. pecan halves
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg white and orange juice in a small bowl until frothy. Add nuts; stir gently to coat. Combine the remaining ingredients. Add to nut mixture and stir gently to coat. Spread onto a large, greased baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 300 degrees to 20 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring every 7-8 minutes. Cool. Store in an airtight container.

I love making this recipe to give as gifts. However, cooking time has been a real problem for me. The original recipe says to cook for 30 minutes, but that proved to be too long every time. Keep a real close eye on this mixture while you are stirring it. Take them out as soon as they start to brown or they will be overcooked.
