Single Crust:
1¼ cups flour
½ tsp salt
1/3 cup shortening
2-3 Tbsp ice cold water



Double Crust:
2 c flour
1 tsp salt
2/3 c shortening
4-5 Tbsp ice cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour and salt. Cut in shortening with pastry cutter or two forks until size of small peas. Sprinkle 1 Tbsp of water over flour mixture. Gently toss with a fork and push clumps to side of the bowl. Continue to add water until most flour is moist. Use only as much water as needed, mixture should be a little dry. Mix as little as possible for the most flakey crust.
