1/2c. butter
2/3c. + 1/4c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1c. flour
1-8oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
6 medium apples, peeled and sliced
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and 1/3c. sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in 1/4 tsp. vanilla and flour and mix well. Spread dough on bottom and 1 1/2" up sides of a 9" springform pan.
Combine 1/4c. sugar and cream cheese, blend in egg and 1/4 tsp. vanilla and pour into pan.
Coat apples with cinnamon and 1/3c. sugar and place on top of filling.
Bake in preheated oven at 450ºF for 10 minutes then lower to 400ºF and bake another 25 minutes. Cool and chill.
Note: I usually put the slices in a pretty decorative pattern...looks beautiful when baked!
