1 1/2 cup sugar
2 sticks of butter, not margarine
2/3 cup water
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cook ingredients to 290 degrees without stirring. Once it reaches 290 degrees stir in 1/2 tsp. of baking soda. Pour on greased cookie sheet. Wait about 3 minutes and add chocolate chips. When chips are melted enough to spread, spread them all over toffee like icing. Then add chopped nuts. After it has been in the fridge a couple hours, break into pieces and keep chilled.
