1 1/2 lBs. boneless steak
2 T. shortening
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
2 c. water
2 green peppers, cut in strips
1 1/2 T. cornstarch
1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Cut meat into thin strips 2" long. In a large skillet, heat shortening and brown meat, turning frequently. Stir in soup mix and water. Cover. Simmer 30 mins. Stir in in peppers and simmer 10 more mins, or until meat is done. Blend in cornstarch with 1/2 water in a cup or bowl, then add to skillet. Cook while stirring until thickened. This is good served with rice.
