Makes about 3 dozen.
3/4 C. Butter flavored Shortening
1 1/4 C firmly packed Brown Sugar
2 T. Milk
1 T. Real Vanilla
1 3/4 C. Flour
1/4 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
1 C. Chocolate Chips
1 Egg

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375º. Combine shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed with mixer until well blended. Beat in egg. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Mix into creamed mixture just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon full of dough 3 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 8 to 10 minutes for chewy cookies or 11 to 13 minutes for crisp cookies. DO NOT OVER BAKE. Remove cookies to foil to cool.
