2/3 cup chopped onion
3 T oil
1 tsp oregano
1 med bay leaf
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can tomato paste
1 can (tomato paste can) water
1 #2 and 1/2 can tomatoes

1/4 tsp garlic salt
1 T parsley flakes

1/8 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rigatoni as directed -- drain and cool -- try to get big rigatoni as it needs to be stuffed
Sauce: Sauté beef and onions in oil -- add remaining ingredients and cook 10 minutes.
Combine stuffing ingredients, mix well -- ask your family to wash their hands and help you roll the mix into slightly bigger than pencil size pieces -- stuff the cooked rigatoni -- then stack in layers in casserole - alternating pasta with the sauce -- sprinkle with Parmesan on top -- Bake for one hour at 350º -- uncover and bake for 15 more minutes.

Personal Notes:
Do yourself a favor and double this -- freezes very well -- and is so very good -- takes some time to stuff, but I have had it with the shortcut of not stuffing the pasta and it is not nearly as yummy...it is a never fail pleaser of the Broderick Family.
