1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup boiling water
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
2 beaten eggs
1/4 cold milk
1 package dry yeast - dissolved in 1/4 cup lukewarm water
3 1/2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve shortening in boiling water. Add sugar, salt, beaten eggs, milk and dissolved yeast.
Add flour, a little at a time, mix and beat to form a thick sponge. Cover tightly, place in refrigerator for at least 5 hour up to 4 days.
To make cinnamon rolls, take as much as you want and roll it about 1/4 inch thick and spread with melted butter and sprinkle with desired amount of sugar, cinnamon and brown sugar. Roll up and cut about 1 1/4 inch rolls and place in pan which has been greased and covered with brown sugar. Let rise and bake at 400º or 425º about 15 minutes.
