1-cup butter
1 1/4-cup sugar
3 eggs
1-teaspoon vanilla
3 cups all-purpose flour sifted 3 times
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
pinch salt
1-cup sour cream

¾ cup brown sugar
1-teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Add vanilla. Mix together dry ingredients. Add sour cream, alternating with the flour mixture.
Grease a 10-inch tube pan. Pour 1/3 cup strudel on bottom of pan and add half the dough. Add another layer strudel and dough and so on.
Bake for one hour and let cool on cake rack for 10 minutes.
When cool sprinkle with powdered sugar.
