Ingredients: Cube steak eggs half and half Italian bread crumbs butter / Pam spray red wine Better Than Bullion Beef soup base --------- dredge cube steak in bowl: 1 egg beaten and 1/4 cup of half and half then coat in bowl of : Italian bread crumbs
Fry breaded steaks in 1/4 stick of butter or PAM fry one side, then flip to fry other side. Once 1/2 way cooked, Pour: 1/4 cup of red wine, add 1 tsp Better Than Bullion Beef Soup Base 1 cup of water mix to make gravy consistency-

Directions:(I cook cube steak 1 minute on each side for medium doneness) (You can remove the cube steak to a plate while you make the gravy in the pan then re-add to heat. I don't) |

Notes: This is a recipe I make for Randy and I, so you may need to double the ingredients. Most of these ingredients are in my pantry/fridge. Better than Bullion soup base is a jar, it is a jell consistency which you keep in the fridge and scoop out as needed to flavor anything. It comes in three flavors and I have all three: beef, chicken and ham on hand always. Serve this with mashed potatoes and green beans. (you can buy the refrigerated mashed potatoes and use canned or frozen peas.) VERY quick, VERYdelicious meal
