1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
1 scant tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
flour*** adjust see directions

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add egg, salt , vanilla and sour cream. Add enough flour to make a dough that can be rolled out. Cut dough with cookie cutter (Grandma always cut circles). Place chocolate chips in cut cookie and bake. Bake for 10 minutes in a 375º oven.

Grandma Coombs always made these cookies with chocolate chips. When chocolate chips became expensive she only put three chips in each cookie.
