1 White cake mix
1/2 C chopped nuts
1/4 C juice cherries
Red food coloring
16 maraschino cherries cut in 1/8
Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake as follows:

add cherry juice. If color is not rosy red, add red food coloring 1 tsp at a time. Fold in nuts and cherries.

Bake as directed on cake box.

Frosting:
1 tsp vanilla
2 egg whites
3/4 C Corn syrup
1/8 tsp salt

Beat egg whites until they from picks. Add warm corn syrup. Sprinkle in salt. Fold in vanilla. Spread even over cake.
