Cake:
2 ½ cups self rising flour
1 cup buttermilk
1 ½ cups sugar
2 cups Wesson oil
1 tsp cocoa
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
2 oz red food coloring
2 eggs


Icing:
1 stick margarine
1 lb powdered sugar
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
1 tsp vanilla flavoring

Cake:
Cream sugar and Wesson oil, add eggs and beat well. Sift flour. Mix coloring and cocoa, add vinegar, mix well and add to eggs and sugar mixture. Beat hard and then add flour, alternating with buttermilk. Add vanilla and beat until well blended. Cook in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes or until well done.

Icing:
Cream margarine and cream cheese. Add powdered sugar a little at a time and blend until smooth. Add flavoring and nuts. Ice the cake.
