1 lb. good sausage
¾ cup chopped onion
1/2 pint carton whipping cream
2 eggs
1 9" deep dish pie shell, partially cooked
1 cup (or more) shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
Directions:
Crumble and cook sausage with onion until sausage is done. Drain and dry. Put into partially baked pie shell. Combine eggs with whipping cream and pour over sausage mixture. Top with cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until set (usually takes about an hour). Serve with salad for dinner or we enjoy it as a breakfast with fruit.
