2 cups coarsely crushed pretzels
¾ cup margarine, melted
3 tbsp granulated sugar
8 oz cream cheese at room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
2 cups Cool Whip
1 small box strawberry gelatin
2 cups boiling water
2 10 oz packages of frozen strawberries

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix margarine and 3 tbsp sugar. Reserve 2 tbsp pretzels for topping. Stir remaining pretzels into the margarine and sugar mixture. Pour into a glass bottom baking dish. Bake 8 minutes. Cool. Mix softened cream cheese with 1 cup sugar until creamy. Fold in cool whip. Spread on cooled pretzel mixture. Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Set aside to cool. Cut strawberries into small pieces while still frozen and stir into gelatin. Set in refrigerator for 10 minutes. Pour on top of whipped mixture. Sprinkle with reserved pretzels. Keep refrigerated until set.
