1 whole lemon, quartered ( peel only)
1 whole orange quartered ( peel only)
1/8 c. whole cloves
5 whole cinnamon sticks
3 bay leaves

Directions:
Directions:
Three days ahead allow lemon and orange peel to dry. Add to 1 quart of water the above ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes. Turn off heat and let stand. Essence will fill the house. This makes a nice gift to bring to someone's house for the holidays! Put above in small Ball jar and write down directions on a card.
