* 1 pound cooked Italian sausage links
/cut into 1/2" slices
* 1 {15 ounce} can Italian style stewed tomatoes
with basil,oregano & garlic/undrained
* 1 {15 ounce} can low sodium beef broth
* 1 cup water
* 1/4 cup Italian style tomato paste
* 1 medium onion/course chop
* 2 medium carrots/1/2 " sliced
* 1 1/2 cups uncooked rigatoni pasta
* 1 cup Italian blend shredded cheese

Directions:

*In your favorite soup pot,combine the sausage,tomatoes,broth,water,tomato paste,onions & carrots.*Heat to boiling,then reduce the heat to medium/low.*Cook about 10 minutes ~OR~ 'til the carrots are tender.*Stir in the pasta & cook 10 to 12 minutes 'til the pasta is tender~OR~you can precook the pasta & add it at this point.*Top with the cheese & continue to heat,covered {do not stir} 'til the cheese is melted.
