1/2 box spaghetti 3 tbsps. flour
3 chicken breast, cut in bite sized pieces
3 cups mixed vegetables(broccoli, cauliflower,carrots)
1 onion 1 garlic clove, minced
3 tbsps.margarine 1/2 cup grated cheese
2 cups milk 1 tsp. garlic powder

Saute onions and garlic in 1 tbsp.margarine. Add chicken and cook until not pink. Remove from pan.If using frozen vegetables, microwave for 5 minutes until partially soft.Cook pasta
Add 2 tbsps. margarine;melt. Add milk, flour and garlic powder.. Whisk until thickened. Add cooked chicken, vegetables, cheese and cooked pasta. Mix well and cook over low heat for 5-10 minutes until vegetables are done.

You can easily "lighten" this recipe by using low fat milk and light margarine, Use wheat pasta to cut carbs.
