1 (8 serving size) package strawberry flavored gelatin
Dash of salt
2 1/2 C boiling water

2 C frozen Cool Whip plus some additional for icing

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water in a large bowl or pan.
Add strawberries with their juice (break up and distribute
thoroughly if still partially frozen). Regrigerate until partially
set, 45 minutes to 1 hour. While gelatin is setting, cut cake into
1 inch pieces and place in extra large bowl. When gelatin
mixture is firm, beat with electric mixer until fluffy, fold in
whipped topping, then fold in cake pieces. Pour mixture into
large 10 1/2 by 3 inch springform pan that has been lightly
coated with Pam spray. Chill overnight. Before serving,
remove pan sides and garnish dessert with additional whipped
topping and whole or sliced berries.

Personal Notes:
This perfect dessert makes a beautiful presentation. It also
works equally well using sugar free gelatin, low calorie whipped
topping, and sugar free angel food cake to reduce fat and
calories.
