Italian Spaghetti Sauce Recipe

1 lb. ground chuck or round
1/2 lb. ground veal
1/2 lb. bulk italian sausage
1 16 oz. tomato paste
1 30 oz. can tomato puree
1 30 oz. can crushed tomatoes
2 medium onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 c. fresh parsley
1/2 tsp. oregano
1T. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 T. basil
1/2 tsp. sage
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese
1 c. dry red wine
2 c. water
3 T. olive oil

Saute onion and garlic in olive oil. Add all meats and cook until all red color in meat is gone. Add all other ingredients and simmer for several hours uncovered.

Note: If you like mushrooms you may saute sliced mushrooms and add them to sauce the last half hour.
