1 half pound bag of puffed corn
1 cup butter
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 lb. pecans, cashews or nut of choice

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil in sauce pan, stirring constantly, boil 4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda (will foam). Pour hot mixture over puffed corn and nuts in a large roasting pan. Stir until well coated. Bake for 1 hour at 250º stirring every 20 minutes. Pour onto wax paper to cool. Store in a sealed container.
