1/2 lb ground beef
1 large tomato, peeled and chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
6 olives, cut up finely
1 hard cooked egg, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

Dough:
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
Salt
Cold water

Directions:

Filling:
1. Melt the butter and cook the onion until tender.
2. Add tomato and pepper.
3. Add the meat and cook a few minutes.
4. Remove from the fire and add salt, pepper, sugar, olives, and the egg.
5. Mix well.

Dough:
1. Mix the butter with flour, salt and add enough cold water to make dough.
2. Let stand about ten min.
3. Roll out smooth and thin.
4. Dot with butter and sprinkle with flour.
5. Fold over.
6. Roll very thin again and cut in circles with a cookie cutter.

1. In the center of each, place about a tablespoon of filling.
2. Brush the ends of the dough with water.
3. Cover with a second cut circle and press together to shape edges with a fork on both sides.
4. Heat oil for frying, fry until hot and brown on both sides.
